A few days ago I've started thinking about purchasing an EV for the future. It's almost 2018 and world is getting prepared for electric vehicle revolution in the nearest future, so am I I've checked a few EV models but didn't find anything attractive on the current market. Most of the EVs are either expensive as **** or not convenient enough in terms of battery life. Thus, I'm here to see how the new EV is going to be born.

Of course, I've gone through different Tesla models (which are too expensive for me), BMW i3 model and Chevy Bolt. I had Chevy Bolt on my mind for a while till I found MINI EV concept and now they are fighting for the top position on my list. What do you think about Bolt by the way?

Would you ever consider getting a hybrid? If money is that much of an issue you might find better value and an easier barrier to entry in a hybrid. EV's are still slowly coming down in price with the introduction of new and cheaper models. If having confidence in a product through a proven track record matters to you then the Bolt might be it, already there's a ton of coverage on it from both owners and journalists.

The thing is I want to try the new technology, which is a fully electric vehicle. The concept of battery instead of gas attracts me the most.
I've watched a lot of videos, read articles and talked to people about EV market, so I'm a bit acknowledged about what is fully electric vehicles are. I have some time to consider this purchase until MINI EV release.
