Good evening! I'm new to the forum and new to ordering. I placed an order online and put down the $250 deposit via mini last week. I was then contacted by my dealer to confirm the build code. My question is- Is the $29,900msrp base model no longer offered? When building online, I did not see it available and the dealer couldn't confirm or give a solid answer. I thought that I read somewhere on this forum that after sending the build code, you can request that dealer "downgrade" the build to base specs, etc. The lowest trim and build available online as of now shows a "Signature 2.0" (roughly $35k with delivery) trim which includes things such as Panoramic roof and heated seats that I don't need. I would think that given the currently supply chain issues, less features would be easier to build for the manufacturer than forcing more...

Overall still excited, but weighing options!
Thanks in advance!

Hey @Chefcorey1 welcome to the forum! I don't think they are because on the Mini website it says that the Cooper SE starts at $34,225, $35,075 with destination and handling.

What other vehicles are you considering aside from the Cooper SE?

I believe it is no longer available. The SE is only made in Oxford, and the official Mini web lists the cars they have stopped producing due to supply chain issues and the Level 1 (entry level) is listed as not being produced.

Hey @Irish Mini welcome to the forum! Do you have a Cooper SE or are you waiting for yours?
Hi & thanks for the welcome. I don't have a Cooper SE, but I have one ordered. I am not meant to get it until Nov/Dec but my dealer contacted me on Monday and said my Mini was built and has left the factory and that I should be able to collect it in 2 to 3 weeks' time. It could be quicker but customs takes longer since Brexit. So hopefully I (well, my wife) will have a shiny new Cooper SE. I am getting my home EV charger installed tomorrow at 10am.
