There are some new reports coming out of Mini's engineering department that say performance will be more of a focus than efficiency on the brands first EV. 2019 will be a big year not only for this EV but Mini as a whole, its their 60th anniversary, providing even more of a reason to do something EV-related.

Being part of BMW helps.
Mini shouldn't have to worry about this for much longer as BMW's EV program progresses which over the next 3-5 years it will and drastically.
