Hi All,
Just discovered this group. Really excited about my future purchase of a mini 2023 se all electric.
But, it comes with summer tires. I live in the north east. Snow, Ice, Rain on a regular basis in the winter.
So, the mini comes with summer tires. Any suggested guidance?

Hi @mini2023 welcome to the forum! If you plan on driving your mini in the winter you're going to need to get a good set of winter tires to switch into. You can get some through Mini or any tire shop.
Thank you for your quick response. So, if i understand you (you were very clear , but, i wanted to make sure i understand), i should have two sets of tires. (one for when it is warm (March to October) and one set for winter (Nov to Feb). And do winter tires have an effect on performance and distance? Thanks

Oh wow, welcome to the Mini gang
How hot do you get in summer?
I'm in NC. For my R53, I ran a set of summer, and a set of winter wheels. The winters I have are Nokian WR-G4. They are great tyres. A more wintery all-season. It s a bit too warm here to run them all year, but if I was in MA or somewhere, I'd seriously consider it.
