Mini Connected All Charge and Climate settings

We are new owners of the Mini Cooper S (electric) and are having difficulty with using the Charge and Climate setting in the Mini Connected app. Is it possible to set the timer to:

1. charge for a specific time slot (stop and start)?
2. charge the car but not to activate climate control?
3. charge to a certain limit less than 100%?

Tips welcome!

Hi Geoff and Chris,

I can find the first two on my Mini App, so yes, you can do it.
But I don't think you can se up a certain SOC.

pay a visit to any nearby mini-authorized dealer.
You can set a time slot. But, if the slot isn't big enough to charge to 100%, it will charge outside it.
You can charge without activating climate control.
You can't set it to stop charging at least than 100%.
I find it easier to set up in the car.

I set mine to activate climate control and finish charging at my scheduled departure time. That way it doesn't sit at 100%, which will slightly affect battery life.

I am trying to enforce charging only in the cheaper time slot. ie I am ok not reaching a full charge, but I am not ok charging before midnight (it costs me double). Is that not possible?

Thanks
To prevent charging before the time slot begins, you should set a departure time long enough after the start time for the slot that would allow your SE to reach 100%. If the departure time is greater than 30 minutes past the end of the charging time slot, your SE will begin charging at the very beginning of the slot.

The only way to stop charging before it reaches 100% is to intervene--either by unplugging the car or using a "smart" EVSE that has its own charging time slot settings.
