I’ve run into the same thing—really strange there’s so little info out there. You’d think MINI would make this more clear.

 

Agreed it’s the best kept secret in the industry in fact not even they seem to know which concerns me when it comes to a tyre change at the local Kwick Fit will they just guess and assumes the lugs are the jacking points. I’ve read that on BWM the jacking points are recessed into a hole and you need put in a metal bar sold by them into said hole and then align the jack to the metal bar and as this car is made by them that’s likely to be the case. I’m gonna contact their customers service at BMW but from a previous call to said team I would have been better dialling up the speaking clock they knew nothing and guessed everything it was embarrassing to hear them fumble through my enquiry. I’ll try emailing this time round.

 

Just heard back from local BMW dealer after several emails and they confirm it is the four lugs under the car that project down one by each tyre. They are very obvious and the same as on most cars. I’ve jacked up the car now just to be check and sure enough all good.
