Good news for UK drivers!

The Government has introduced a bill to make electric vehicle (EV) charging points mandatory at all large petrol stations and motorway services.

Feels like we finally getting into the electric vehicles era. Hope they're gonna introduce the same bill here in US and Canada !

Hopefully they will provide an incentive to owners of parkades to include parking spaces or better yet just make it mandatory for a percentage of all parking spots in that complex.

How many charging stations do you think we will see on average at these stations? 2-3?

I think for now 2-4 should be enough.. However, we'll definitely see increase in that number over time.

Good on the gov't to take that step forward because station owners probably aren't too willing to install the system themselves without prompting. The installation costs comes to mind. But they need to be fast chargers or people will be stuck at stations for the longest time.
