Hello,
First i'm new here, live in Belgium and owner of a Mini SE since 2 weeks.
Till now i've been charging at the local warehouse (free loading when you shop - 50Kwh Charger).
So yesterday evening i had 7% left and plugged it in to my wallbox wich i set to eco charging.
This morning the Mini was fully charged (it took about 6 hours in eco mode).
When i looked in the app it said that 34Kwh had been charged overnight... How is this explainable? The Mini battery only has a capacity op 28.9 Kwh.

Anyone who can explain this, please do....

What charging apps report is the raw power delivered from the wall. The kWh amount delivered to the car’s battery is 7-12% lower with DC charging and up to 35% less with level 1 charging.

Most folks never take into account charging losses in their cost to drive calculations. Many assume a magical 100% efficiency from wall into battery pack.

One more question, can I plug my Mini into a 120Kwh charger? I've read that the maximum it will charge at is 50Kwh. Yesterday I plugged it into a 120Kwh charger and it wouldn't charge.

Yes! Your SE will communicate with the charger to negotiate how much power it will receive--which will never be more than 50kW. If the charger can't provide that much power, the SE will ask for as much as it can give. So you can safely plug into a charger that can provide more than 50kW or less than 50kW and everything should be safe.

That may have been a problem with that particular charger. Sometimes public chargers don't work.
