Assumptions about the Mini EV Interior

After looking at pictures of the new Mini Electric Concept, I was not impressed at all. Compared to Mini Coopers we can get right now, it wasn't anything you'd expect from a concept. At the same time this might be Mini's way of having less of an obligation to introduce more new features. If Mini's are selling well, then that's a great reason to keep things same from MY to MY.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Mini EV has a more simplistic interior similar to what we we see in the BMW i3. That seems to be the trend with electric vehicles these days, larger screens everywhere and less buttons for a more streamlined look.

Hopefully that won't be the case because the Countryman's interior is just spot on.

It would be nice to take Countryman's interior design and add a few more EV notes, such as digital speedometer screen. I also like what RangeRover did to their climate control panel (even though it requires a lot of cleaning because of the fingerprints), wish to see something like that in the new Mini EV.
