I'm excited Mini is going electric

Hey everyone, I've been a fan of electric vehicles and now that Mini is getting into the EV game I'm really excited. I've never had the pleasure of owning a mini but depending on how good the Mini is I might just go ahead and do it. I look forward to going through all the threads and sharing what I can. Thanks!

I suggest you try out BMW's electric line up while waiting for Mini to finally launch theirs.

It should give you some ground work to go off of. Aside from EV's outside of BMW, which should too be tested. Have you driven any yet?

Welcome!

I've driven an i3 actually and I really enjoyed how quick and quiet it is. I've also been a passenger in my friend's Chevy, it's a nice car too but it's a bit bland for me on the inside.

Did the i3 feel too top heavy? Apparently it did according to some first drive reviews I seen when it launched.

First post here and thought I would jump in on this and say... VERY.

Its actually very easy to find complaints about how unsafe the i3 can be.
Someone I know with a toddler wanted to get it but decided not to due to the kid.

Yeah there were some moments that were noticeable, you can feel it sometimes when turning. But I was mostly doing city driving so I didn't find it too bad.

You're simply the i3's direct target demographic. City driving is where they excel.
Fortunately more options are on the way, first with a BMW i4 sedan.
